Ward & Rider Solicitors have been providing quality legal services for over 75 years to the people of Coventry and the Midlands who require a service from committed lawyers who genuinely care about their clients and their affairs..

Main purpose of the role

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and proactive Administrative & Reception Assistant to join our team. This is a varied role combining reception, post room, and administrative responsibilities. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while providing essential support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the office.

Key duties and responsibilities

· Welcome visitors and provide a professional front-of-house service.

· Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and emails.

· Manage incoming and outgoing post, parcels, and courier deliveries.

· Maintain reception and meeting room areas to a high standard.

· Provide administrative and secretarial support where necessary.

· Schedule meetings, and book meeting rooms.

· Order and distribute office supplies and stationery.

· Assist with general office duties and support other departments as required.

About You:-

The successful candidate will have:-

· Previous experience in an administrative, reception, or office support role.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

· The ability to prioritise workloads and work independently.

· A professional, welcoming, and customer-focused approach.

· Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

· The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
