Ruby’s Bakery Ltd is growing and has some exciting opportunities for an Industrial Cleaner , to join our busy cake factory team in Burgess Hill, Mid Sussex. We have full time hours available to fill immediately.

The Full Time hours for this job are from 10am to 6pm Monday to Fridays.

There may also be opportunity for overtime on weekends as well as during the week and extended working hour programmes available.

Responsibilities include:

Operating & cleaning industrial bakery machines, including dismantling and reassembling the machinery being cleaned.
Using a floor cleaning machines & other cleaning materials.
Cleaning, washing up and other general tasks.
Basic food handling within the bakery such as making frostings and packing
Waste and bin emptying
There may also be opportunities to learn how to become a baker within the team

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the job satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education & Experience:

Secondary school
Production or cleaning experience.
Maths & English GCSE

Physical Demands:

This job operates in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role routinely uses machinery. To perform this job you must be physically fit and able to lift 20kgs. Please be aware this job contains a lot of bending down and lifting.
