About The Ebrington Hotel

The Ebrington Hotel & Spa is a unique luxury venue and is situated in the heart of the city overlooking the River Foyle. We understand the key to delivering exceptional quality of service comes from building a team of passionate professionals with a guest-focused attitude.

The Ebrington Hotel is now seeking to recruit a Yard & Store Assistant for their premises, Ebrington Square, Derry-Londonderry:

Contract: Full Time Permanent

Start date: TBC

Hours of work: 40 hours per week

Salary: Competitive

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION

The Yard and Store Assistant will assist and support the Operations of the hotel, in all areas and departments.

Key Responsibilities:

· Methodically work through a checklist of daily tasks, ensuring all items are completed each day.

· Set up meeting and event spaces for the following day

- Ensure that all public areas and back-of-house areas are clean and tidy

- Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately complete tasks and reports during the shift

- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed by the hotel

· Receive deliveries, check orders for accuracy, and report discrepancies.

· Keep the cellar and storage areas clean, organized, and well-stocked, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.

· Conduct regular checks on communal rooms and other facilities to ensure cleanliness and readiness for guests.

· Identify any maintenance needs and report them to management for prompt resolution.

· Support the team with additional tasks and responsibilities to maintain smooth daily operations.

· Be able to support our reception team where needed

This role is pivotal in maintaining a well-organized, welcoming, and efficient environment across the business. Full training will be provided.
