Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Baker. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food production and preparation within a dynamic kitchen environment. The successful candidate will be involved in creating high-quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers. Previous experience in food preparation or a culinary background is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position is paid and suitable for those eager to advance their career in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
Follow recipes accurately and adhere to food safety standards at all times.
Support the organisation of ingredients and kitchen equipment to maintain an efficient workflow.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the kitchen area, including cleaning utensils, surfaces, and appliances.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy periods.
Contribute ideas for menu development and presentation enhancements.
Assist with baking tasks as required, ensuring products meet quality standards.

Requirements

Previous experience in food production, food preparation, or a culinary environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen safety protocols is desirable.
A strong interest in culinary arts, baking, or restaurant operations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary.
