Front of House Supervisor – Full Time (Permanent)
Marleys, Folkestone

We're an award-winning independent bistro, almost 8 years in and still growing. We're looking for a Front of House Supervisor to take a leading role in our service - someone who can own the floor, lead a team of up to 8 people, and hold high standards when it's busy.

This isn't an entry-level role. You'll be running front of house in real time, making the call on the things that keep service flowing from the moment guests walk in to the moment they leave.

A real perk first: we're closed Mondays and Tuesdays, with no early morning starts in the week, and an early finish on Sunday's.

Day to day, you'll be:

Leading service and managing the floor as it happens
Hosting, greeting, and handling bookings and walk-ins
Supporting and directing the FOH team through the busy periods
Keeping service quick, organised and to a high standard
Handling customers confidently, including sorting out any issues

We'll also trust you with:

Opening and closing the restaurant (key holding)
Cashing up and end-of-day reporting
Bar stock control and ordering
Delegating tasks and keeping the team accountable

What we're looking for:

Solid hospitality experience — you've worked busy services before
Confidence running a section or shift on your own
A calm, decisive presence and clear communication.
Confidence, friendliness and great chat!
High personal standards in service and presentation
The ability to lead without ego — firm, fair, team-focused
