Full Uk Drivers License

THC Care is a domiciliary care provider who specialise in delivering quality, person centred care to people living in the Sandwell and Dudley areas. We are currently looking for an experienced care co-ordinator to join our team.

As a care Coordinator, you will work mainly at head office, but also from home with the on-call phone. For this reason, having a full UK Drivers license and access to your own vehicle is essential to take on this role.

As a Care Coordinator with THC Care, your main responsibility will be to

organise, Coordinate and supervise the deployment of care services within the agency, prepare weekly rota for all staff within the business.

You will develop effective working relationships with both the registered manager and Home Care Workers and ensure the day-to-day care runs smoothly. Your other duties as a care coordinator include:

Systematically solve day to day problematical issues which arise.
Ensure that the care services are delivered to service users at the correct time and duration specified in the relevant individual agreements.
Manage travel delays and staff shortages to mitigate to the fullest extent possible, the impact on the service user, Managing and minimising their distress and insecurity in such situations.
Ensure that the Care service is delivered in a safe and person-centred manner.
Ensure that Service User rights are protected.
Any other reasonable duties set out by your line manager
Prepare weekly rosters for all care staff within the business
Allocation of shifts ( care calls)
Cover short term absence such as sickness with existing care staff.
