Full job description

Office Assistant

Ramsay’s Transport Ltd has an exciting opportunity for an Office Assistant to join our friendly team at our Lochee premises.

We are looking for a reliable, organised and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner. As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you’ll play an important role in ensuring our office runs smoothly while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Answer incoming telephone calls and deal with customer enquiries.
Book customers in for waste disposal services.
Direct calls to the appropriate department.
Carry out general administrative duties.
Maintain accurate records and office documentation.
Support colleagues and work effectively as part of a busy team.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Excellent telephone manner and communication skills.
Good computer skills and confidence using office software.
A positive attitude with the ability to work well as part of a team.
Good knowledge of the Dundee local area.

Experience using Skiptrack, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook would be an advantage, but full training can be provided, so this is not essential.

Hours

We can offer 20–40 hours per week, depending on the successful candidate.

Monday to Friday
Working hours between 8:00am and 4:30pm
Flexible working - Start and finish times can be agreed to suit both the business and the successful applicant.
