,About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer / Smart Repair Technician to join our team working on rolling stock. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced rail environment, carrying out high-quality cosmetic and paint repairs to trains and associated components.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out smart repairs, including preparation, masking, priming, and paint application
Perform colour matching and blending to a high standard
Repair minor damage such as scratches, dents, and scuffs on rolling stock
Ensure all work meets strict quality, safety, and industry standards
Maintain a clean and organised work area
Follow all health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements

Proven experience as a paint sprayer or smart repair technician (automotive, rail, or similar)
Strong knowledge of paint systems, materials, and application techniques
Ability to colour-match and blend effectively
High attention to detail and quality workmanship
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work day or night shifts

Desirable

Previous experience working on rolling stock or within the rail industry
Relevant qualifications in paint spraying or vehicle refinishing

Pay: £17.50-£25.00 per hour
