Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and personable Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves engaging with clients, supporting sales operations, and contributing to the growth of our business. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work efficiently. This position offers an opportunity to develop valuable sales experience within a professional setting.

Duties

Greet customers courteously and assist them in selecting products or services that meet their needs
Support the sales team in achieving targets through effective client engagement and follow-up
Conduct negotiations with clients to secure favourable terms and close sales deals
Manage sales relationships, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and retention
Maintain organised records of sales activities, client interactions, and appointments using IT systems
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing queries promptly and professionally
Assist in organising promotional events or campaigns to boost sales visibility
Ensure all sales documentation complies with company policies and standards

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to persuade and influence clients effectively
Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Proven experience in sales and pawnbroking environments is desirable
Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanour
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently
Organisational skills to manage multiple client accounts and administrative duties simultaneously
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a target-driven environment

Jewellery and Pawnbroking experience is required.
