Job Description:
£100-£130 per day Teaching assistant role based in Birmingham
Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support
educators and students within an educational setting. The successful candidate will play a vital role in assisting with classroom activities, providing personalised support to pupils, and fostering an inclusive learning environment. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education and working with children, including those with special educational needs or disabilities.

Experience in
special education, working with children with autism, or tutoring is highly desirable.
The role requires strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine desire to
make a positive impact on students’ lives.

Responsibilities
· Support teachers in delivering lesson plans and classroom activities
· Assist pupils with their learning tasks, ensuring they understand instructions
and stay engaged
· Provide personalised support to students with special educational needs or
disabilities, including those with autism
· Foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation and confidence
among pupils
· Help manage behavioural issues in a calm and constructive manner
· Mentor and tutor students who require additional academic assistance
· Support the organisation of learning materials and classroom resources

· Observe and report on student progress and behaviour to teachers or
specialised staff
Skills
· Experience with children, particularly in educational or tutoring roles
· Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pupils, teachers, and
parents
· Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet
individual student needs
· Organised approach
· Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team within an educational
environment
