Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-time Barista/Waitress to join our vibrant team. This role involves preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and assisting with food preparation in a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering a positive experience to our customers and capable of managing multiple tasks with professionalism and enthusiasm. Flexibility to work during busy periods, including weekends, is preferred.

Duties

Prepare a variety of hot and cold beverages in accordance with company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
Serve food and drinks to customers in a courteous and timely manner.
Take customer orders accurately, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including cleaning equipment and utensils regularly.
Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers politely and addressing any queries or concerns promptly.
Manage multiple tables or orders simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, ensuring a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Experience

Knowledge of food safety regulations is advantageous.
Experience in serving or hospitality roles demonstrates strong customer service skills.
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions accurately.
Good time management skills are essential to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanour is highly valued.
