Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Waiting On Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, serving drinks efficiently, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. This role requires a strong understanding of customer service, excellent presentation skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant/bar experience is required, but we are willing to provide training for the right candidate. The position offers an opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while contributing to a lively social setting.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
Manage cash and card transactions efficiently and accurately
Ensure all alcohol service adheres to legal requirements and responsible serving practices
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment and promote repeat business
Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer service during busy periods.

Experience

Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant setting is required.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for creating positive guest interactions
Must be 21+ to apply for this job role

Pay: £12.71-£14.00 per hour
