Overview
Join our vibrant culinary team as a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef specialising in New York-style hand-stretched pizza. We’re looking for someone with a strong background in food preparation and cooking who can create high-quality pizzas that delight our customers. This exciting role offers a chance to showcase your culinary talents in a fast-paced customer-focused environment. Previous kitchen or restaurant experience is preferred, along with a commitment to food safety and excellent meal preparation standards.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook authentic pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough making, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently during food preparation
Ensure timely delivery of orders while maintaining high standards of presentation and taste
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Follow health and safety guidelines to uphold a safe working environment for all staff

Experience

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking, ideally within a restaurant or pizzeria setting
Knowledge of culinary techniques related to pizza making and meal preparation
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a commercial kitchen environment
Previous experience serving customers or working in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not essential
Enthusiasm for creating delicious food and delivering excellent service to guests

Pay: £7.00-£14.00 per hour
