Job Description

We are looking for a professional and reliable Door Supervisor to join our security team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident, observant, and committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment at Synagogues.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of worshippers, visitors, staff, and the premises while maintaining a professional and respectful presence throughout each shift.

Duties

Monitor entry and exit points to ensure only authorised individuals gain access.
Maintain a visible security presence to deter anti-social behaviour and potential threats.
Conduct regular patrols of the premises and surrounding areas.
Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents or emergencies.
Manage access during services and events while maintaining a calm and respectful environment.
Assist with emergency evacuations when required.
Liaise with emergency services when necessary.
Complete accurate incident reports and maintain security records.
Ensure all site security procedures and health & safety policies are followed.

Requirements

Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Mandatory).
Previous experience in a Door Supervisor or Security role is preferred.
Strong communication and conflict management skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
Reliable, punctual, and professional in appearance.
Must have the legal right to work in the UK.

Job Details

Pay: £16.00 per hour
Schedule: Every Saturday & Sunday
Shift Length: 4–5 hours per shift
Job Type: Part-time (Weekend)
Work Location: KT13

Pay: Up to £16.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
