Full job description

A rare opportunity has arisen at the Barnard Medical Group for an Assistant Practice Manager. Along with the Practice Manager you will oversea the day to day operations ensuring everything runs smoothly.

We are a supportive, dynamic, ever evolving training practice, committed to delivering high-quality patient-centred care. Our clinical team comprises of 3 GP Partners, a Practice Manager, 4 Associate GPs, 5 Practice Nurses, an in-house Pharmacy Team, a Mental Health Practitioner, and a First Contact Physiotherapist. They are supported by an experienced and dedicated Reception and Administrative Team, all working collaboratively to provide excellent care for our patients.

Candidates must be performing or performed a similar role within a Primary Care setting.

Duties and Responsibilities:

To provide day to day operational leadership and ensure the smooth running of the practice.

To work with the Practice Manager and GP partnership to deliver organisational strategy.

Lead on QOF and GP Premium to ensure maximum achievement for the practice.

To ensure full compliance with CQC, Information Governance, Health & Safety and all statutory regulations.

To review and maintain up to date practice policies, workforce mandatory training and practice administration such as TeamNet, Human resource requirements etc.

To champion innovation and digital transformation to enhance patient care and practice efficiency.

To ensure that day to day operational performance is disseminated to the GP partners and Practice Manager.

This role profile is intended to provide a broad outline of the main responsibilities only.
