Overview

Join our dynamic educational team as an English Language Teacher (ESOL) on an ad hoc basis at IQF International College! In this role, you will inspire and empower students to develop their English language skills, fostering confidence and fluency through engaging and effective teaching methods. Responsibilities

Deliver engaging ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) lessons tailored to diverse student needs and proficiency levels
Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, and assessments that promote active learning and language mastery
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and confidence-building among students
Monitor student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum enhancements and share best practices in language instruction
Maintain accurate records of attendance, participation, and performance for reporting purposes
Adapt teaching strategies using IT tools and resources to enhance learning experiences

Skills

Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills to effectively convey concepts and motivate learners
Strong organizational skills to plan lessons, manage classroom activities, and track student progress
Effective teaching abilities with a passion for helping students achieve their language goals
Good IT skills to utilize digital platforms, online resources, and educational software in lesson delivery
Knowledge of plumbing is not required but demonstrates versatility; however, familiarity with basic technical troubleshooting can be advantageous in supporting classroom technology setup
