About Jampot Coffee

Most coffee sales jobs involve selling coffee; this one is different. Jampot Coffee is the roasted expression of Qima Coffee's global sourcing platform. We work directly with producing regions across Yemen, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Uganda and beyond, giving our customers access to coffees, stories, and relationships that most roasters simply cannot offer.

We roast in London, operate our own cafés, and work across the coffee value chain in a way that very few businesses do. Our customers come to us because we offer:

- Direct access to exceptional coffees from origin.
- Strong pricing and reliable supply.
- Genuine expertise across the coffee value chain.
- A growing hospitality platform through Qima Café.
- Additional product opportunities through our sister bakery business.

This Role Exists For One Reason

To win new business.

We're not looking for a manager. We're not looking for someone to spend their days building spreadsheets, writing reports, or sitting in internal meetings.

We're looking for someone who enjoys being out in the market, meeting people, opening doors, building relationships, and converting opportunities into customers. We want:

What You'll Be Doing

1. Winning New Accounts

This will be the majority of your role. You'll be responsible for introducing Jampot Coffee to new customers and growing our wholesale footprint across London and the UK. You'll spend most of your time:

- Prospecting new customers.
- Visiting cafés, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, and offices.
- Conducting tastings and product demonstrations.
- Following up leads and growing your sales pipeline.
- Building relationships with decision-makers to convert prospects.

2. Growing Existing Customers

Alongside winning new business, you'll help develop our existing customer base. You'll:

- Build strong relationships with key accounts.
- Increase customer spend over time by introducing new products.
- Ensure customers remain engaged and loyal.

3. Selling More Than Coffee

You'll also offer pastries and baked goods from our sister bakery operation, creating a stronger proposition and significantly increasing your commission opportunities.

4. Representing the Brand

As a public face of Jampot Coffee, you will attend trade shows, coffee festivals, and industry events to act as an ambassador for our direct origin relationships.

Who We're Looking For

We're far more interested in attitude than credentials. The ideal candidate will be:

- Target-Driven: Motivated by performance and results.
- Relationship-Focused: Naturally personable and confident speaking to new people.
- Resilient: Comfortable with rejection and proactive in their approach.
- Organized: Able to manage their own pipeline effectively.

Experience in coffee, hospitality, foodservice, FMCG, or wholesale sales is beneficial but not essential. We can teach the coffee; we can't teach hunger.

What Success Looks Like

In your first year, success will include:

- Winning new wholesale customers and growing revenue across coffee and bakery categories.
- Building a strong, active sales pipeline.
- Becoming a recognized face within the hospitality and coffee community.

What We Offer

- Base Salary: £36,000–£42,000 (depending on experience).
- Commission: Uncapped commission on coffee and bakery sales.
- OTE: £50,000–£65,000+, with higher potential for top performers.
- Travel: Travel card and business expenses covered.
- Perks: Unlimited Jampot coffee and ongoing training.

Pay: £55,000.00-£65,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

London E15 1JB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
