Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for an organised and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations by processing customer orders, coordinating deliveries, raising invoices, maintaining accurate records and providing excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate will be confident using computer systems, highly organised and able to manage a busy workload while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Process customer orders accurately using Sage and other internal systems.
Manage and process Shopify orders.
Raise invoices and maintain accurate customer and order records.
Coordinate collections and deliveries with logistics providers.
Respond to customer enquiries by phone and email.
Provide customers with updates on their orders and deliveries.
Monitor proof of delivery documentation and resolve any issues.
Update operational spreadsheets, trackers and reports.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for management.
Support the wider operations team with general administrative tasks.
Identify and report operational issues to help improve processes.

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Organised, reliable and highly attentive to detail.
Confident using computer systems and Microsoft Office.
Able to prioritise tasks and work efficiently under pressure.
A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills.
Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Proactive with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Essential Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an operations, administration or customer service role.
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word.
Experience processing customer orders using computer systems.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Desirable

Experience using Sage 50 Accounts Professional or a similar ERP/accounting system.
Experience using Shopify.
Experience coordinating deliveries or logistics.
Experience preparing reports and analysing operational data.
Knowledge of invoicing and proof of delivery processes.

Pay: £24,800.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Preston PR1 3JJ: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

United Kingdom (required)
