Job Description

We are one of the fastest growing bakeries supplying the national and international branded coffee shop market in the UK and Europe. We also have our own Cakehead brand selling into coffee shops, independent Deli’s and Garden Centres in the UK. We produce a range of award-winning cakes, tray bakes and brownies and are looking to add to our Sales order and logistics team here in Oakham.

We operate 3 production facilities one in Wellingborough and two in Oakham with manufacturing partners in Ireland.

Primary objective of the job:

Proactively manage, resolve and escalate delivery queries for both internal and external customers in a timely manner

What you’ll be doing:

Build strong relationship with key carriers to deliver and continually improve frontline customer service.
Processing incoming orders and booking transport, ensuring the deliveries meet the required deadlines.
Ensure delivery related issues are resolved in a timely manner to minimise impact on customer.
Streamlining shipping and transportation processes
Analyse and review carrier / customer data, understand connections and recognise the opportunities for process improvement in those connections
Managing activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to ensure SLAs are met
Familiar with UK and International delivery process.
Managing queries, resolving or escalating to relevant areas of the business, providing feedback as necessary.
Maintaining regular communication with your line manager.
Invoice processing
Enjoy working to deadlines in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with our customers with regular updates.

Office Based: Saddlers Court, in Oakham LE17 7GH

Hours Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm

Permanent Role
