Packing Operative – Chocolate Factory
Location: Bruton, Somerset
Pay: £13.00 per hour
Hours: Full-Time – 7:30am – 5:30pm, Monday – Thursday
Start Date: Immediate start available

Job Description

We are a growing chocolate manufacturer supplying high-profile UK retailers and luxury department stores. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Packing Operative to join our factory team.

This is a hands-on role within our packing department, ideally suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

Pack chocolate products into retail packaging including boxes, sleeves, and gift formats to a high standard.
Ensure all products are packed neatly, accurately, and in line with company specifications.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the packing area.
Follow all food safety, HACCP, SALSA, and health & safety requirements.
Work as part of a team to meet daily packing targets.

Requirements

Previous experience in food manufacturing, hospitality, or a similar hands-on role is helpful but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work.
Reliable with good timekeeping and attendance.
Comfortable working on your feet in a busy production environment.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
