Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves supporting the preparation and serving of high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, excellent organisational skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop culinary skills and gain valuable experience in a professional kitchen setting.

Responsibilities

Assist with meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
Support cooking activities under the supervision of senior kitchen staff
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to at all times
Help with cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
Prepare ingredients and assist with food presentation for service
Serve meals to customers or staff in a courteous and efficient manner
Maintain stock levels by organising ingredients and supplies
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications

Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is essential
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
A genuine interest in culinary arts and food service industry standards
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
