About The Role

With a head office based centrally in Birmingham, BCA logistics is a provider of vehicle inspection, collection & delivery services within the automotive supply chain on a nationwide basis. Typically operating at end of vehicle contract BCA Logistics inspects & collects in excess of 600, 000 vehicles per annum making it the largest provider of these services within the sector with further growth planned.

BMW Handover Operative

Based at postcode GU140LX

£14.11 Per hour

Monday to Friday (8am to 4pm)

Main Responsibilities:

Working closely with multiple parties to ensure as a team we deliver a 5-star service that exceeds customer expectations. To liaise effectively with colleagues inside BCAL and BMW to reduce costs and improve customer service.

Liaise with GCSappointments team ensuring all vehicles are processed and made available to achieve lead times.
Ensure that all activities on and off site meet the Health and Safety requirements as outlined by the BCAL H&S team and BMW.

Core Duties:

Liaise with BMW stakeholders and Suppliers to ensure our ability to deliver a service is not compromised.

Initiatives:

Health and Safety
Implementation of the focus on reducing risk via effective training
Driving quality performance levels
Process reviews and improvement

Significance of Role:
- A critical role in the successful delivery of the BCAL service as this role provides the oversight of multiple activities.
- Significant contribution to overall efficiency, effectiveness and contract profitability and must therefore play its part in overall delivery of service.
- Accurately forecasting and managing workloads will be critical to success and adherence to SLA’s and agreed deadlines for results.
