Full job description

Customer Service Administrator

Location: Sevenoaks Medical Centre, Sevenoaks

Hours: 40 hours per week, Permanent Contract

Salary: £26436.80 per annum

Shift Pattern: Monday to Saturday between 7.30am and 8.30pm on a rota basis.

Additional Requirement: Occasional shifts at our Royal Tunbridge Wells Clinic

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Administrator to join our team at Sevenoaks Medical Centre.

As a Customer Service Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring our patients, visitors, consultants and colleagues receive a professional, warm and efficient service. Acting as a first point of contact, you will support multiple departments including Reception, Outpatients, Imaging and wider administrative functions, helping to create a positive and memorable experience for every patient who visits our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver a professional, friendly, and efficient reception and administration service, always ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Manage patient appointments, including booking, amending, and cancelling appointments across multiple departments, while maintaining accurate patient records.
Respond to patient, consultant and stakeholder enquiries via telephone, email, and face-to-face interactions, providing timely and accurate information.
Provide administrative support to clinical and non-clinical teams, including managing clinic diaries, processing correspondence, and maintaining confidential records in line with GDPR requirements.
Process payments, handle routine administrative tasks and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the Sevenoaks Medical Centre and, when required, the Royal Tunbridge Wells Clinic.

What you'll bring

Essential

5 GCSEs grade 4 and above (or equivalent) including English and Maths
Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office applications

Desirable

Previous healthcare or hospital administration experience
