Job Summary

Get hands-on at the heart of our operation.

CMB Foods has been supplying the finest quality meat to schools, hospitals, universities and corporate kitchens across the southeast since1982. Family-run, BRC AA-accredited and proud of it — we're now growing fast and looking for Production Operatives to join our team at our East Grinstead production site.

No two days are the same. You'll be part of a skilled, close-knit team preparing, packing and dispatching the products that keep our customers coming back.

What you'll be doing

Preparing, cutting and packing meat products accurately to order specification
Operating production machinery (full training provided)
Making sausages, burgers, kofta, and meatballs— real craft skills
Weighing, labelling and packing finished products for dispatch
Carrying out cleaning routines at the start, end and in between production runs
Reporting any quality, food safety or process concerns to your supervisor
Keeping your area clean, organised and compliant at all times

What we're looking for

A reliable, hardworking attitude — you show up and you give it your best
Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately
Basic numeracy — you'll be working with weights and quantities
An understanding of food hygiene basics (or a willingness to learn quickly)
Good communication — you'll flag issues rather than ignore them
Previous food production experience is helpful but not essential — we'll train the right person
