About the opportunity: We are looking for a YDP Academy Coach who will support the Club Pathway Mission of producing Academy Graduates for Everton FC while ensuring positive outcomes for all our players.

As the YDP Academy Coach, you will be responsible for the overall management, development, and leadership, delivering a high-performance learning environment that aligns with the coaching philosophy, vision, and values of both the Academy and the Club.

A key focus of the role will be leading the planning, delivery, and review of each player's Individual Development Plan (IDP), ensuring that every player receives a tailored programme to support their technical, tactical, physical, psychological, and social development. You will monitor player progress, provide regular feedback, and work collaboratively to create meaningful development opportunities that maximise each player's potential.

You will also lead the Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) process for the group, working closely with colleagues across coaching, sports science, medical, education, psychology, and player care to ensure a joined-up approach to player development. Through effective communication and collaboration, you will ensure that the needs of every player are understood and supported across all areas of the Academy programme.

Working closely with the phase lead and Head of Academy Coaching, and other Academy staff, you will ensure consistency in the delivery of the Club's player development programme while demonstrating the highest standards of professionalism and behaviours that reflect the values of Everton Football Club

Who we are looking for: Our ideal candidate will hold a minimum FA Coaching Level 3 (UEFA B Licence) & FA Advanced Youth Award (Foundation Phase) and will have experience of working with and supporting children in the foundation phase group both on and off the pitch.

If you have experience of working within the football industry, in particular within the Youth development Phase then we would love to hear from you!

The role is based at our training ground, Finch Farm, and will be working 40 hours per week on a permanent contract
