Job Description

We are looking for a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist / Administrator to join our busy Medical and Dental Clinic. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

Welcoming patients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
Managing appointment bookings, cancellations, and diary scheduling
Answering telephone calls, emails, and patient enquiries
Registering new patients and maintaining accurate patient records
Processing payments and issuing receipts
Liaising with doctors, dentists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Assisting with administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and document management
Ensuring the reception area remains clean, organised, and welcoming
Following clinic policies regarding confidentiality and data protection
Supporting the wider team with day-to-day operational duties

Skills

Previous receptionist, customer service, or administrative experience is highly desirable
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong organisational abilities with exceptional attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy clinical environment
Friendly and professional telephone manner
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-focused approach
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Professional appearance and positive attitude
Experience within a medical, dental, or healthcare setting is advantageous but not essential
Ability to communicate in Turkish would be advantageous but is not essential

This role is suitable for motivated individuals seeking to develop their administrative and customer service skills within a supportive healthcare environment. Candidates should demonstrate reliability, professionalism, discretion, and a proactive approach to their work while delivering exceptional patient care and service.

Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
