Team Leader

Salary: £26,260 to £26,687 per annum, depending on qualifications

Maximum full time job rate potential is £27,115 per annum, performance related

Hours: Full time (38 hours per week)

Location: Long Stratton, Norfolk

About the role:

As a Break Team Leader, you will play a vital role in helping young people achieve positive outcomes. Your enthusiasm and passion for supporting young people to thrive will be at the heart of everything you do.

You will motivate your team to deliver engaging, safe, and inspiring shifts. You will create positive experiences where both colleagues and young people feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. As part of the role, you will also provide guidance when needed to ensure the continued delivery of high-quality care and support.

You will need to be an excellent team player who is warm, compassionate, calm, and resilient, with the ability to support young people with complex emotional, behavioural, and additional needs. Through your empathy, patience, and commitment, you will help make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of young people with disabilities, enabling them to achieve their potential and thrive.

Ideally, you'll already hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare. If you don't, you'll be expected to complete it within 24 months of starting. The qualification is fully funded by Break, and you'll receive support from their training team while completing it.
