About us

Precision Motor Group is a small family run business in Harlow. We are professional and agile, our goal is to Deliver quality safe used vehicles to our customers.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced full mechanic to join our team and contribute to our continued success. They will contribute to handling all aspects of automotive repair and maintenance, from diagnostics to complex mechanical repairs.

Duties:

- Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Conduct inspections and testing of vehicle systems and components
- Follow repair manuals and schematics to ensure accurate repairs
- Perform electrical system repairs and installations
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts for repair or replacement
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Automotive Mechanic or similar role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and schematics
- Familiarity with vehicle systems, including electrical, braking, and suspension systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- A competent team player is essential

- Availability to work Monday - Friday and alternate Saturdays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
