Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Multi Sports Coach to join our team. This role involves delivering engaging sports coaching sessions across a variety of sports, fostering teamwork, and inspiring participants of all ages and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sports, excellent teaching abilities, and a commitment to promoting healthy activity and personal development through sport. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop coaching skills whilst making a positive impact within the community.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver coaching sessions across multiple sports, ensuring activities are safe, inclusive, and enjoyable.
Provide clear instruction and demonstrate techniques to participants of varying ages and abilities.
Motivate participants to achieve their personal best while fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.
Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Organise equipment and ensure all sporting activities comply with health and safety regulations.
Maintain a positive environment that encourages participation, confidence, and fun.
Assist in organising sporting events or competitions as required.
Keep accurate records of attendance, progress, and any incidents during sessions.

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching or teaching within a community or school setting.
Strong knowledge of multiple sports with the ability to adapt coaching styles accordingly.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage participants effectively.
Organised with the ability to plan sessions that cater for different age groups and skill levels.
Enthusiastic team player with a professional attitude towards coaching responsibilities.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings or weekends if required.
A recognised coaching qualification or willingness to undertake relevant training is desirable but not essential.

This role provides an excellent platform for passionate individuals eager to develop their coaching career whilst contributing positively to community engagement through sport.

Pay: £12.21-£15.00 per hour
