About the role

Location: 3 Colham Road
Hours: 20 hours per week (2 x 10-hour night shifts, 22:00 to 08:00), including weekends on a 4-week rolling rota.

Are you a compassionate and reliable care professional looking for a rewarding night-time role?

We are looking for a Night Care Worker to join our team at 3 Colham Road, supporting adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism and complex health needs.

Working as part of a dedicated team, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care throughout the night, helping residents remain safe, comfortable and well supported while promoting their independence, dignity and wellbeing.

You Will

Provide person-centred care and support throughout the night.
Assist with personal care, mobility and wellbeing.
Carry out regular welfare checks and respond to residents' needs.
Administer medication in line with policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate care records and complete handovers.
Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents and safeguarding concerns.
Help maintain a safe, clean and secure environment.
Work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working in health and social care.
Has experience supporting adults with complex needs.
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Is compassionate, patient and able to work calmly under pressure.
Understands person-centred care and safeguarding principles.
Can work independently and use their initiative.
Holds a relevant Health and Social Care qualification or is willing to work towards one.

Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism or complex health needs is desirable.
