Steel Erector

Full Time | Permanent

Due to continued growth, Hanson Buildings Ltd is looking to recruit a Steel Erector to join our experienced installation team.

Based at our depot in Featherstone, West Yorkshire, you will be responsible for the installation of a wide range of domestic, commercial and industrial steel buildings at customer sites across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work and enjoys working as part of a professional team.

The Role

Installation of steel buildings and associated components.
Working nationwide at customer sites.
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to the highest standard.
Working closely with the installation team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Maintaining a clean and professional working environment on site.

About You

A valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card are essential.
Previous experience in steel erection, construction, cladding, roofing or a similar trade is desirable but not essential.
A valid FLT and/or HIAB/Crane licence would be advantageous.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn, with full training provided where required.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A flexible approach to working hours, including 1–2 overnight stays per week.
