Full job description

Working at this impressive national events venue, you will assist in the smooth running of the Event Cleaning department on a day-to-day basis. This role will suit those who enjoy a physical challenge, have pride in their work and are skilled at motivating others. No two days are the same - our events range from Comic Cons to trade shows and gala dinners.

Employed on a 30 hour a week contract, flexible shift pattern working 5 days out of 7 including daytime, weekend and evening shifts.

Responsibilities include:

Organise and schedule cleaning duties amongst your team
Supervise and motivate your cleaning operative team to ensure they achieve their full potential
Train your team on health and safety policies and procedures
Ensure all areas of the venue are serviced and maintained to an excellent standard
Assist with and monitor general and event cleaning

Skills/Experience Required:

Supervisory/Industrial cleaning experience
A flexible approach to work
Excellent communication skills
Self-motivated with the drive and energy to see a task through to completion
Have a reasonable level of fitness
Proof of right to work in the UK
