Full job description

Title: Accounts Administrator

Reports to: Managing Director

Based at: 104 Gawthorpe Lane, Huddersfield

Job purpose: To deliver the finance and accounts function of the business and support the MD with administrative tasks

Hours of work: 18 hours per week over 3-5 days.

The Accounts Administrator will be based at our office at 104 Gawthorpe Lane, Huddersfield and will complete accounts and payroll, and ensure compliance with all financial reporting systems, using Integrity Evo-M accounting software, for which training will be provided.

The Accounts Administrator will provide financial support and a general admin function for the company.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

1.To accurately enter all supplier invoices and generate all sales invoices using the Integrity Evo-M accounting package, assigning to contract and ledger codes. and

2. Complete weekly payroll, assigning hours to contracts, input on the system, submission to HMRC and pension input.

3. Complete and submit quarterly VAT returns and CIS submissions

4. Provide financial management reports to assist the completion of timely year end submission to the accountant.

5. Manage credit control, including debt collection, Monthly bank reconciliations and preparation of year end accounts.

6. To provide administrative support to the Finance Manager and Managing Director e.g. quotes, insurances, filing etc

7. To answer customer queries and supply information as required.

8. Maintain HR files, holiday/sickness records etc

6. Maintain Health & Safety files for all contracts

Skills, knowledge and personal qualities required

ESSENTIAL

● Bookkeeping qualification, preferably AAT Level 3

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written

● Excellent organisational skills

● Excellent IT skills; familiarity with and ability to use Microsoft Office, Google docs, and accounting software packages.

● Excellent numeracy, high standards of accuracy and attention to detail

● The ability to work under direction and on own initiative.

● Punctual and reliable

DESIRABLE

● Knowledge of Integrity Evo-M or similar construction related accounting packages.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
