Full job description

We are looking for commercial office cleaners to work part time hours across Monday to Friday, in the early evening and possibly late afternoon – we are open to discussion about hours to fit around the successful candidates.

Overview of the Role

Within the Facilities team you will be responsible for maintaining a hygienic, safe, and welcoming environment. By providing a high-quality cleaning service, you will ensure all areas are maintained to the highest agreed standards and support the smooth day-to-day operation of the business. You will follow cleaning schedules, your initiative, use appropriate equipment and products, and consistently uphold hygiene and health and safety practices.

This role is based on our Blackburn site and is part‑time, Monday to Friday, with hours to be confirmed.

Main Responsibilities include:

· Cleaning office areas, meeting rooms, the reception area along with all communal spaces, including kitchens, toilets, stairwells and corridors.

· Key tasks include dusting, vacuuming, sanitising, emptying bins, mopping, and general cleaning duties such as emptying the dishwashers.

· Restock any areas that need to be replenished.

· Complete all tasks on the cleaning rota to ensure the highest standards are consistently achieved.

· Comply with Health and Safety procedures and report any maintenance issues or repairs to management.

· Any other relevant duties as required.

Skills and experience required

Essential

- Ability to speak English, written and verbal

- Trustworthy

- Highly professional

- Attention to Detail

- Punctual with time management skills

- Able to work alone and within a team

- Ability to produce a high standard of work unsupervised

Desirable

- Previous experience as a commercial office cleaner, housekeeping, hotel cleaner or similar.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
