Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and personable Receptionist/Waiter/Bar staff member to join our vibrant hospitality team. This multifaceted role involves providing exceptional guest services, managing front-of-house operations, and delivering high-quality food and beverages. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in restaurant or bar settings is preferred, along with a strong understanding of customer service standards. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills whilst ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience and great tips.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations efficiently
Take accurate orders for food and beverages, ensuring timely service
Serve food and drinks with professionalism and attention to detail
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, bar, and reception
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations
Handle guest enquiries courteously and resolve any issues promptly
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is highly desirable
Strong organisational skills with effective time management abilities
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
