Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chef with front of house responsibilities to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will possess strong culinary skills, leadership qualities, and excellent customer service abilities. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee food preparation, manage a team, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Candidates with supervising experience and a background in food production and hospitality are highly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation
Oversee daily kitchen operations, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards in accordance with regulations
Manage front of house staff, including serving customers and ensuring excellent service delivery
Supervise team members, providing guidance, training, and support to optimise performance
Coordinate food orders, stock levels, and inventory management to ensure smooth operations
Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer experiences through attentive service and professionalism
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas at all times
Collaborate with management on menu planning, special events, and promotional activities

Qualifications

Proven experience in a culinary role with a strong background in food preparation and cooking
Supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality environment
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in both kitchen operations and customer service
Previous restaurant experience is preferred, along with a passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and service
