We're looking for a passionate and talented Junior Sous Chef to join our hospitality team. Working closely with the Head Chef, you'll help deliver high-quality, nutritious meals while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.

As a Junior Sous Chef, you'll collaborate with our Head Chef to elevate our culinary offerings, using only the freshest seasonal ingredients to craft nutritious, flavourful, and well-balanced menus tailored to our residents' preferences.

The Ideal Junior Sous Chef:

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, Senior Chef de Partie, or Junior Sous Chef.
City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 in Professional Cookery, or equivalent qualification (desirable).
A passion for fresh ingredients and high-quality food.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and HACCP procedures.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
A positive, team-focused approach with a genuine desire to enhance residents' dining experiences.

What You'll Be Doing:

Supporting the Head Chef with the daily operation of the kitchen.
Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals to a consistently high standard.
Assisting and supporting kitchen colleagues when required.
Maintaining excellent food hygiene, health and safety, and HACCP standards.
Assisting with stock control.
