Key Responsibilities

Execute tasks assigned by managers in accordance with risk assessments and method statements.
Ensure completion of all site paperwork as required within the necessary timescales.
Operate and supervise machinery and tools safely and competently in accordance with their training .
Conduct pre-use checks on all equipment and report defects immediately.
Maintain a safe, tidy, and efficient working environment on site.
Ensure works are completed on time and to specification.
Maximise productivity while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Attend and actively participate in toolbox talks, site briefings, and training sessions.
Sign and comply with all relevant permits and briefings before commencing work.

Full UK drivers Licence

Essential

SMSTS, SSSTS or ROLO Supervisor qualification
LANTRA and/or NPTC qualifications relevant to the role
Valid CSCS Card
PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification for rail-related work
First Aid at Work qualification (including Forestry First Aid where applicable)

Desirable Criteria

- Leadership or Management qualification/training (e.g. ILM Level 3 or above)
