Job Summary

The Quality and Compliance Officer is responsible for ensuring that organisational processes and products meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role involves monitoring, evaluating, and improving quality assurance procedures to uphold the organisation’s commitment to excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a comprehensive understanding of quality assurance practices. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to maintaining high standards across all operational areas.

Duties

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in line with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular audits and inspections of processes, products, and documentation to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
Analyse data from quality control tests and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with departments to resolve quality issues promptly and effectively.
Prepare detailed reports on quality metrics, audit findings, and compliance status for senior management.
Facilitate training programmes for staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices.
Monitor changes in legislation or industry standards that could impact organisational compliance.
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.

Skills

Proven experience in quality assurance within a relevant industry sector.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance standards applicable to the organisation’s operations.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
Effective communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
Attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of relevant software applications used for documentation, reporting, and data management.
