Part-Time Site Support Assistant – Holiday Retreats (Flexible Hours)

Sunridge Retreats – Yealmpton, Plymouth Area (PL8 2LN)

We are looking for a reliable, practical person to help support our luxury holiday retreat business.

Sunridge Retreats is a collection of luxury, five-star rated holiday retreats set within beautiful countryside near Plymouth.

This is a varied role helping prepare retreats for guest arrivals and keeping the site looking its best.

Typical jobs include:

Draining, refilling and checking hot tubs (full training provided)
Cleaning BBQs and preparing outdoor areas for arrivals
Taking bins up from retreats
Washing / jet washing cladding, decking and outdoor areas (equipment provided)
Window cleaning and preparing outdoor spaces for guests
Leaf blowing and general outdoor upkeep
Basic gardening and mowing
Painting and touching up areas when needed
Basic DIY and odd jobs (basic practical / DIY skills required)
Helping keep retreats guest-ready for arrivals

The role:

Flexible hours depending on bookings and changeover days
Arrivals can happen on any day of the week, therefore weekday and weekend availability is important.
Weekend availability (when there is booking arrivals) is particularly important due to holiday changeovers and guest arrival
Work may involve shorter visits across different days
Hours can range from a couple of hours to longer days during busy periods
Some flexibility is important as bookings and changeover requirements can occasionally change at short notice
Work is mainly outdoors and may involve working in all weather conditions on arrival days
£15 per hour

You would suit this role if you are:

✓ Able to occasionally help with shorter visits during the week when needed
✓ Enjoy hands-on, practical work
✓ Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
✓ Happy with physical work and walking around site
✓ Have your own transport and driving licence (essential)
✓ Live reasonably local to Yealmpton / Plymouth area
✓ Happy working independently
✓ Take pride in presentation and high standards
