Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Handy Man/Woman to join our team managing our property portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of skills and experience in general maintenance and repair tasks. This role is essential for ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and that all repairs are completed efficiently. The Handy Man /Woman will work both independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive working environment.

This is a part time role minimum 2 days per week.

Flexibility on working days.

Driving License essential.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and repairs on buildings, fixtures, and fittings.
Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve maintenance problems in a timely manner.
Carry out general maintenance tasks as required.
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times.
Assist with the setup and dismantling of furniture or fixtures for events or projects.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Handy Man/Woman or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of various repair techniques and methods.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good physical condition, capable of lifting heavy objects when necessary.
Valid driving license is essential.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
