Stainless Steel Pipe Fabricator
Location: Keighley, West Yorkshire (this is a site-based role, no travel required)
Are you an experienced Fabricator/Welder looking for a stable, site-based position with no travel? Join our skilled team in Keighley and take pride in producing high-quality assemblies for carbon steel and stainless-steel pipework in grades 304, 309 & 316.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role and enjoys working with precision and craftsmanship.
What you'll be doing:
Fabricate and weld pipework from detailed engineering drawings
Work on assemblies ranging from small components to large structures
Perform self-inspection and ensure all components meet specifications
Use MIG & TIG welding equipment, cutting tools, saws, and drilling machines to deliver top-quality fabrications
Identify and report any issues or suggest alternative manufacturing methods
Maintain excellent housekeeping and adhere to health & safety standard
About you:
- Proven experience in mild steel structural work and stainless-steel pipework (grades 304, 309 & 316)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Skilled in MIG & TIG welding and familiar with fabrication tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-conscious with good time management
Desirable Qualifications:
- City & Guilds Parts 1, 2 & 3 or equivalent
- NVQ Level 3 in Welding
- Abrasive Wheels certification
Forklift / Telehandler licence
