Metal Fabrication Technician

About the Role

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Metal Fabrication Technician to join our manufacturing team in Bedford.

This is a hands-on workshop role involving the fabrication and preparation of metal structures used in our LED display products. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work and is comfortable working with metal, power tools, and workshop machinery.

This is not an office-based position. The majority of the work is carried out in a busy workshop environment and requires a practical, can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities

Cutting, drilling, grinding and preparing steel components
Operating hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
Reading basic technical drawings and measurements
Preparing fabricated parts for assembly
Maintaining a clean and organised workshop
Assisting with general manufacturing and production tasks
Supporting the team with installation preparation when required

What We Are Looking For

Previous experience in metal fabrication, engineering, manufacturing, construction, or a similar hands-on role
Confident using tools such as angle grinders, drills, saws and measuring equipment
Good attention to detail
Reliable and punctual
Physically fit and comfortable working in a workshop environment
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Welding experience is not required but would be a significant advantage

This role involves manual workshop work and is not suitable for candidates seeking office-based, desk-based, or remote work.
