Full job description

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Serve drinks and beverages accurately and efficiently to customers at the bar and tables
Ensure all drinks are prepared in accordance with food safety standards and company policies
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Engage with customers professionally, providing friendly and attentive service
Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Assist in setting up and closing down the bar area at the beginning and end of shifts
Monitor customer behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adherence to licensing laws

Requirements

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices is advantageous
Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, approachable manner
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods
Ability to work well under pressure in a lively environment
A personable attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or during peak hours as required
