Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a professional, friendly individual to join our team as a part-time Hotel Receptionist to provide maternity leave cover (22.5 hours plus holiday cover). This role offers the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, handling check-ins, managing daily accounts, answering phone inquiries and efficiently passing sales leads to the sales team. If you are a courteous, detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply. Ideal role for a Travel and Tourism student.

Responsibilities:

Greet and check-in guests in a warm and friendly manner.
Manage the opening and closing of daily accounts with precision and accuracy.
Answer incoming calls, providing information and assistance as needed.
Collaborate with the sales team to transfer and follow up on sales leads.
Maintain a professional and welcoming demeanour at all times.
Prioritize customer service to ensure a positive guest experience.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
Proficient computer skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and conduct.

Shift Patterns:

Early Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Late Shift: 2:30 PM to 10:30 PM

Weekend Requirements:

Availability to work part of every other weekend

Pay: £12,000.00-£15,000.00 per year
