Deputy Site Supervisor – Marine & Oakridge Surgery

Location: Marine & Oakridge Surgery
Hours: 37.5–40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
Start Date: ASAP

Are you an experienced General Practice Receptionist looking to take the next step in your career? Or are you already in a supervisory role and looking for a new challenge within a supportive Primary Care organisation?

South Coast Medical Group is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Site Supervisor to join the team at Marine & Oakridge Surgery.

Working alongside the Practice Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting the Reception team, coordinating operational activities and helping to deliver an excellent service to our patients.

About the Role

As Deputy Supervisor, you will:

Support the Practice Supervisor with the day-to-day running of the practice.
Provide Supervisor cover in the absence of the Practice Supervisor.
Supervise and support the Reception team.
Assist with staff recruitment, induction, training and development.
Support rota planning and annual leave management.
Help resolve operational and administrative issues.
Provide reception and administrative cover when required.
Ensure the practice continues to deliver an excellent patient experience.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

Experience working within General Practice, healthcare or a customer service environment, with previous supervisory or leadership experience.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
The ability to motivate and support colleagues.
A proactive approach with excellent problem-solving skills.
Good IT skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
