Full job description

We are looking to add a passionate and committed Duty Manager to our existing team to

join part of the growing The Dairy family.

Predominantly daytime hours, supporting a healthy work - life balance.
Up to 28 days ’ paid annual leave each year.

Main responsibilities include:

Leading, motivating, and supporting the team to deliver excellent customer service .
Supervising staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient workflow .
Opening and closing the premises, including cash handling and security procedures.
Assisting with rotas and ensuring adequate staffing levels .
Monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and reducing waste .
Maintaining compliance with food safety regulations and company policies.
Handling customer enquiries, complaints, and resolving issues professionally.
Supporting staff training and development, including coaching new team members.
Working closely with the management team to achieve operational targets.
Providing hands - on support across all areas during busy trading periods.

A successful applicant must :

Have previous experience working within a busy hospitality in a managerial role
Demonstrate excellent leadership and team - building skills.
Be passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Be organised, reliable, and able to prioritise tasks effectively.
Have knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety practices
Have stron g understanding of health and safety regulations and licensing laws.
Have a flexible approach to working shifts and must be available to both weekdaysweekends, and the occasional evening.

Pay: £30,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
