We are a small family run business, where you will work alongside the owners. We are passionate about our business and focus on good food. We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiters, Waitresses, and Bar Staff to join our hospitality team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a lively restaurant and bar environment. Candidates should possess a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail. Previous restaurant or bar experience is preferred. All positions are paid and provide a chance to develop valuable skills within the hospitality industry.

Duties

Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations.
Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and service
Handle payments accurately and process transactions using the POS system
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, bar, and workstations
Assist in food preparation and kitchen duties as required, adhering to food safety standards
Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance guest experience
Manage guest queries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth operation

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality, restaurant service, or bar work is an advantage.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper serving techniques
Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
Experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
Ability to upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities
Culinary or hospitality qualifications are desirable but not essential
A positive attitude, reliability, and a willingness to learn are essential for success in this role

Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: £12.21-£18.44 per hour

Lawshall: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
