Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a flair for creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for serving a variety of beverages, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organised bar area. Your ability to manage time effectively while providing top-notch service will be essential in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
Maintain knowledge of the menu, including food pairings and drink specials, to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible serving practices.
Keep the bar area clean, organised, and well-stocked with supplies.
Handle cash transactions accurately, utilising basic math skills for processing payments.
Engage with customers in a friendly manner, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
Monitor guest behaviour and intervene when necessary to maintain a safe environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, showcasing your ability to thrive in a busy environment.
Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Basic knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
Excellent time management skills to effectively handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
