Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable casual Team Members to join our dynamic team in a vibrant restaurant environment. This role offers flexible hours suitable for individuals looking to gain experience in the hospitality industry or those seeking supplementary income. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for food service, excellent customer interaction skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages in accordance with company standards and food safety regulations
Assist with food presentation and ensure dishes meet quality standards before serving
Support the serving team by delivering orders promptly and courteously to guests
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to health and safety protocols
Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing friendly service
Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery
Follow all food safety procedures, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations is advantageous
Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures is preferred
Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and portion control
Experience in serving or hospitality roles will be beneficial in delivering excellent customer service
Ability to manage time efficiently during peak hours and multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
Culinary experience or background in food preparation will be considered an asset
